Friends of the Barwon are pleased to announce that our guest speaker for the evening will be Tracey Slatter, Managing Director, Barwon Water who will talk about the Urban Water Strategy/Water for our Future.

SUMMARISE HER MASTERS PROJECT ON SWAN BAY'S SALT MARSH CARBON
SEQUESTRATION. SHE'S UNCOVERED SURPRISING EVIDENCE THAT COULD CONTRIBUTE TO
CARBON OFFSETTING PROJECTS.
CRAIG MORLEY, BELLARINE ORANGE-BELLIED PARROT REGIONAL GROUP COORDINATOR
WILL SHARE SOME ASPECTS OF THE ECOLOGY, LIFE HISTORY AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE
CRITICALLY ENDANGERED ORANGE-BELLIED PARROT.

Join Rebecca St Ledger (Blue Carbon Lab & Bellarine Catchment Network) and Craig Morley (Bellarine Orange-bellied Parrot Regional Group Coordinator) to learn about carbon storage in Swan Bay's Saltmarshes and their restoration - and how to identify Orange-bellied Parrots!
