Join the Friends of the Bluff at this special 'conservation conversation' event featuring Dr Samantha Sherman talking about sharks and rays. Samantha will be discussing the conservation of these animals in Australia and beyond.

Join Ash Skinner from Wadawurrung at this free 1 hour education session to deepen your understanding of Wadawurrung's long connection and history to the Bellarine Peninsula.
This 1 hour session will involve a walk and talk at a location on the Northern Bellarine and Ash will discuss Wadawurrung cultural heritage.
Please BYO: Hat, sunscreen and water bottle. A weather-proof jacket if appropriate.
Access: Meet at Point Richards Flora and Fauna Reserve, opposite 167 Point Richards Road. Park on the grassy area and walk into the reserve via the clear track. You should see an open grassy area and a pergola. You will be required to sign in.Â

Dress for the weather on the day, please wear closed-toe shoes and bring your gardening gloves if you own some (we have some spares if required).
Tools and equipment for planting will be provided, and lunch following the planting activity.

Walk with Wadawurrung at this free 2 hour walk and talk session to deepen your understanding of Wadawurrung's long connection and history to the Bellarine Peninsula.
This 2 hour session will involve a walk and talk at 2-3 locations on the Bellarine Peninsula. They will be determined closer to the date. Driving between sites will be required.

Help restore the Narrows, Queenscliff
The Narrows is a thin section of Moonah woodland situated next to Dog Beach, Queenscliff. In partnership with the Borough of Queenscliffe and the Borough Coastcarers group, we have been removing weeds at this site for many years and invite the wider community to find out about our conservation efforts, some of the local weeds impacting these places and contribute through a weeding activity.
This activity will include a guided walk within the woodlands of the Narrows, information about plants and animals found nearby and some weeding of invasive species. The event will end with a complimentary morning tea. Please wear enclosed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. BYO water bottle and hat. Biscuits, tea and coffee and milk varieties will be provided.
Location: This event is being held at the Narrows, Queenscliff. Park in the Dog Beach carpark, opposite 4 Bellarine Highway, Queenscliff.

Explore the woodland of Point Lonsdale
Bunnywoods is a beautiful section of Moonah woodland along the Point Lonsdale foreshore, home to birds, bugs, bats and more. Join this family-friendly environment day to find out about the plants and animals that call this place home.
This activity will include a guided walk along the tracks of Bunnywoods, a scavenger hunt for kids and some weeding (optional). This woodland has some invasive weeds including Blue Periwinkle that requires community assistance to remove by hand.
The event will end with a complimentary morning tea. Please wear enclosed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. BYO water bottle and hat. Biscuits, tea and coffee and milk varieties will be provided.
Location: This event is in Bunnywoods, the woodland south of Royal Park Caravan Park. Park along Jordan or Williams Road, cross the road towards the foreshore and enter the park via the 'exit only' driveway. Be aware of traffic crossing the road and entering the park. Look for the Bellarine Catchment Network vehicle and signage.
