Gardens for Wildlife - Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale

The Gardens for Wildlife Program encourages residents to devote part of their garden to a suitable habitat for local wildlife.

The Swan Bay Environment Association offers free, one-hour garden visits from our G4W co-ordinator and volunteers to residents of Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale. They will to advise on plants and other features that aim to attract wildlife and increase the biodiversity of your garden. Participants will also receive a voucher for some free plants from our Indigenous Nursery, located at 79 Nelson Road Queenscliff.

The G4W program aims to:

  • enable residents to build knowledge, skills and confidence in caring for their garden
  • strengthen our connections with community, nature and place, and
  • improve our health and wellbeing.
