Join Conservation Volunteers Australia to help maintain the private land around Lake Connewarre on May 4th 2023 at 10am to 2pm. The remarkable Lake Connewarre is one of Victoria's most significant wetlands and a Ramsar site for migratory birds. Private landholders need our help to maintain and restore habitat connectivity and biodiversity of the wetland's surrounding ecosystem.
We will be participating in a hand weeding activity to prepare for future planting of native flora. A lunch will be provided by our grateful landholders, followed by a fauna survey to explore the surrounding biodiversity of this unique area.
