Come and help out restore precious Buckley Park every Thursday by helping control invasive weeds.
This important group was meeting once a month in this area but now's your chance to create a real difference at this site as we are now meeting weekly across Months of April, May and June. With the increase in frequency we hope to support the City of Greater Geelong(CoGG) and really tackle some of the invasive weeds.
WHEN: every Thursday- across April, May and June
WHERE: Buckley Park 6W near Ocean Grove Hotel car park- Bonnyvale Rd. Ocean Grove, look out for the CoGG vehicles
COME PREPARED: Essential to wear long pants and tops with sleeves, a protective hat, closed shoes, and eye protection (eg sunglasses or similar). All necessary as weeding in amongst sharp tea tree and bushes of the dune systems.
No RSVP required and New participants welcome each week. No previous experience necessary!!!
