Clifton Springs Curlewis Coastcare is a newly established group aiming to educate the local community about coastal values and issues, and to inspire coastal stewardship and local action. In partnership with Bellarine Catchment Network, Clifton Springs Curlewis Coastcare are facilitating a 'Coastcare Community Day' for members of the community to meet other like-minded people, learn about the coastal environment and find out how they can contribute to it's protection. This event features 3 activities; a beachcomb, flora and fauna walk 'n' talk and an education session by the Wadawurrung.
This event is supported by Bellarine Catchment Network, the City of Greater Geelong, Coastcare Victoria and the Victorian Government.
