With Clifton Springs Curlewis Coastcare
Join Clifton Springs Curlewis Coastcare volunteers and City of Greater Geelong Nature Reserve Officers. We’ll celebrate everyone’s effort this year in protecting the fragile coastline with tea and coffee afterwards. All welcome.
Meet at The Dell, Clifton Springs, Springs St, behind the Bowing Club on the clifftop carpark near the lookout. We’ll walk alongside the Golf Course to our work site at the Second (Fairy) Dell. Look out for signage.
Please bring the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) if you can. Hat, Sunscreen, Suitable footwear (no open shoes), Long/ longs are recommended, Gloves (we will have spares if required), Sunglasses (protective eyewear). Some tools provided, but if you have, bring your hand weeding tool or small trowel.
The Clifton Springs Curlewis Coastcare Group and Bellarine Catchment Network (BCN), works in partnership with the City of Greater Geelong (CoGG), and the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CCMA). The group works on habitat restoration and environmental monitoring of the marine and foreshore areas and promotes the awareness of their environmental values in the community.
