Kelly’s talk will help us understand the impacts of light pollution, including on native animals, and what we can do as individuals to conserve our dark night skies.
Kelly Clitheroe is the President of DarkSky Victoria, the Secretary of the Astronomical Society of Victoria and runs the Geelong Section of the Astronomy association. In her spare time, she’s a full-time secondary school teacher on the Bellarine who also enjoys photography and gardening. Kelly has been photographing the night sky for the last 15 years and became interested in DarkSkies after noticing a decline in sky quality. Her presentation will be followed by supper and a chance to chat with others.
