Environmental Volunteering Calendar

The BBUG (the Bellarine Bicycle Users Group) would like to invite you to attend the Launch of the Bellarine Active Travel Map on Thursday 23rd November at noon at the Indented Head Community Hall. We hope the free printed map will assist both locals and visitors to walk and cycle more readily around the Bellarine.

We’re pleased to have a number of elected representatives attending as well as members from various local community groups and project supporters.

Event program

• 11am - Come 'n' try an e-bike activity  (optional)
• Noon - Map launch followed by refreshments
• 1.30pm - Easy one-hour local walk or bike ride (optional)
  • Walk (4.6km) around Indented Head using Victoria Walks IH Beach 2 Bush map to Woodland Nature Reserve and return through Moonah conservation area.
  • Ride (13km) on back roads to the historic Moreton Bay Fig tree in Portarlington and return along the Bellarine Coastal Trail.
