Help restore the Narrows, Queenscliff
The Narrows is a thin section of Moonah woodland situated next to Dog Beach, Queenscliff. In partnership with the Borough of Queenscliffe and the Borough Coastcarers group, we have been removing weeds at this site for many years and invite the wider community to find out about our conservation efforts, some of the local weeds impacting these places and contribute through a weeding activity.
This activity will include a guided walk within the woodlands of the Narrows, information about plants and animals found nearby and some weeding of invasive species. The event will end with a complimentary morning tea. Please wear enclosed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. BYO water bottle and hat. Biscuits, tea and coffee and milk varieties will be provided.
