Its that time of year again! Be part of the conversation as we reflect on a great year of active volunteering and start to plan for 2023. Openly encouraging the local community- ‘people of all ages and backgrounds’ - to become involved. Please contact us to find out more!

Or do you have skills and expertise to assist our committee such as:

 Produce monthly newsletter

 Post on social media – own events and others of relevance

 Check/respond to/forward emails to the group

 Maintain website and/or microsite updates

 Receive memberships, provide to committee for approval, send welcome letter

 Maintain membership and mailing lists

 Receive membership and other income

 Process invoices

 Report to committee on financial status

 Prepare committee agenda, take minutes

 Generate ideas for environmental activities and projects

 Source grant opportunities and draft applications

 Prepare grant acquittal reports

 Plan/prepare activity sessions:

o Liaise with land manager/s, gain approval

o Visit site prior to activity, paying attention to safety issues, prepare safety plan

Act as OGCC representative on other local environment committees

Draft responses to relevant environment consultations
