Join Bellarine Catchment Network and Bellarine Landcare at this native grassland and weed identification and removal session along the Bellarine Railway Corridor. Help us restore precious Grassy Woodland habitat by removing invasive grass weeds - learn about their identification, impact and help us spot and record some of the good indigenous species.

There will be a table with free plant booklets, wildlife brochures and also some great indigenous grasses as examples to show you what you can pick up from the Bellarine Landcare or Queenscliff Indigenous Nursery.

Meet on the corner of the Bellarine Railway and Swan Bay Road. Park on either side of the road and walk towards the northern side of Swan Bay Road.

Gardening gloves, safety glasses, tools and weed bags will be provided. Please wear long pants, long shirt and sturdy shoes. A hat and water bottle are always a good idea.

The date will be changed if the weather conditions are unfavourable. Contact info@bcn.org.au for more information.

This event is supported by Bellarine Railway, Landcare Australia Limited and VicTrack.
