Join Conservation Volunteers Australia for a day of giving back to the environment and connecting with nature at Murtnaghurt Lagoon. This culturally significant area for Wadawurrung Traditional Owners provides important feeding and breeding habitat for native fish and a number of wetland-dependent bird species, including rare and endangered flora and fauna.
Together with Parks Victoria we will be hosting a day of weed extraction where volunteers can actively help preserve and protect this important wetland. Followed by a free morning tea.
