The National Celtic Folk Festival is one of Australia’s most vibrant celebrations of Celtic music, culture and community, held annually over the June long weekend in the beautiful coastal town of Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Across four unforgettable days, the festival brings together more than 60 national and international performers for a dynamic program of live music, dance, storytelling, workshops, theatre and cultural experiences across multiple venues throughout the town.
Visitors can enjoy traditional and contemporary Celtic performances, artisan markets, delicious food, interactive demonstrations, highland cattle displays, family-friendly entertainment and lively late-night sessions, all set against the stunning waterfront backdrop of Port Phillip Bay.
The festival offers a welcoming atmosphere for all ages and celebrates the rich traditions and spirit of Celtic culture through music, creativity and community connection
