Join Clifton Springs Curlewis Coastcare Group for the launch of their revegetation project at the Curlewis cliff top site on Wednesday, April 16, from 9:30 to 11:45 AM. This family-friendly event takes place during the school holidays and will feature a Welcome to Country by Ash Skinner from the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation.
Staff from the Geelong Council Nature Reserves Team will introduce the project, followed by a hands-on working bee where volunteers can help with weeding and plant identification. This initiative, funded by a City of Greater Geelongs Community Grant, aims to restore the local habitat by controlling weeds and planting indigenous vegetation.
