This resource was developed by the Bellarine Catchment Network to promote volunteering opportunities within the Greater Geelong and Queenscliff area and to raise the profile of local environmental groups and organisations. Our region is home to numerous active and passionate environmental groups and organisations that act to protect and restore local ecosystems, plants and animals.
Our region is also experiencing a growth in population, and often new residents are eager to join local community initiatives and help to protect the environment. Our hope is that the BCN Community Events Portal will enable connections between potential volunteers and local groups and organisations seeking volunteers, and ultimately benefit our local environment.
